A couple of takeaways from this portion of the module is that leading can take place regardless of title and leadership qualities can be taught, if one is willing.  

In terms of application, I’ll continue to apply current leadership skills while being intentional with refining and acquiring additional skills along the way.

What I’ve learned thus far is that the definition of manager and leader are often used co-equally, however, they are uniquely and distinctly different.

It is refreshing to know the pros and cons of many other leadership styles.

It is good to learn the many different leadership styles discussed in this lesson. Prior to this, the three major leadership styles that I have learned in my studies were "Authoritative (Autocratic)", "Democratic (Participative)", and "Laissez-Faire".

Although leadership and management are intertwined, but they are different concepts.

A leader inspires, motivates, and guides people to take ownership of their responsibilities to get the job done.   

Leaders need to be flexible to adapt to the situation and the followers needs

I learned that a leader could foster innovation by setting the stage by making sure the environment supports innovation.

I learned all about matching. The act of matching is conscious, because it is a choice we make. I was not aware that this was conscious and not unconscious.
